Comedy with a cause is our favorite - and this is a one two punch specifically benefiting the disabled population affected by hurricanes Harvey & Irma.

A hurricane relief benefit with an all-star stand up showcase at QED.
For Kambri, a Child of Deaf Adults (CODA), native of the Houston area and former resident of Marina Cay (Tortola), witnessing the destruction caused by Hurricanes Harvey & Irma was particularly hard. Because of Porlight's efforts to bring aid to those with disabilities, Kambri felt it was a fitting charity for which to raise money.
Proceeds made from ticket sales will be donated to Portlght Strategies, a 501(c)(3) organization, founded in 1997 to facilitate a variety of projects involving people with disabilities, including post-disaster relief work.
Portlight is an organization that focuses on helping out people with disabilities, which is also a particularly vulnerable group that needs additional assistance during disasters. It is seeking to help affected people with evacuation and finding shelter, any medical equipment needs they might have, and more. In Puerto RicPortlight is providing medical equipment and evacuation and shelter efforts to the disabled.
