WHY IT'S A PICK:
An all pro line up at one of NYC's finest venues -- it's like comedy... for adults!

ABOUT THE SHOW - FROM THE PRODUCER
When it’s Tuesday night but you want to see a Friday night line-up, Too Soon Tuesday presents comics from Comedy Central, NBC's Last Comic Standing and countless festivals and clubs - all on one stage! Before you take off for the holiday weekend, beat the heat with some cool drinks and declare your independence with laughter. Too Soon Tuesday spotlights emcee James Mattern, headliner Joe DeVito and featured acts Kendra Cunningham, Steve Leventhal and Katherine Williams.

JOE DeVITO has appeared on The Late Late Show, AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live, Comedy Central, Comics Unleashed, and NBC's Last Comic Standing. He is also a regular on FOX Business Network’s Kennedy Show,
discussing politics, culture and the news of the day.

Boston bred and Brooklyn based, Kendra Cunningham has been named as a comic to watch by Time Out New York and has been compared to Groucho Marx and Mae West by the UK’s Chortle. A regular on the New York and Boston comedy scene, she has previously been in the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival, The Glasgow Comedy Festival, and was a finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival for two years in a row. She has twice appeared on NBC’s Last Comic Standing gaining two spots in the top 100 jokes of the season.  Her debut album, Blonde Logic, was released in 2016 by Rooftop Comedy and in 2017, Blonde Logic, a book of comedic essays, was released on Kindle.

Katherine Williams is a New York City-based stand-up comic, actor and playwright. She recently performed on “Gotham Comedy Live” on AXS TV. She was a runner-up in the 2014 Ladies of Laughter competition and a finalist in the 2014 She-Devil Comedy Festival. She’s also performed in the Boston Comedy Festival, Bridgetown Comedy Festival and Laughing Skull Comedy Festival. Seven of her plays have been produced in NYC, including the sold-out hit of the 2012 New York International Fringe Festival, SHIKSAPPEAL: Getting the Chosen to Choose Me.

Steve Leventhal started his comedy career while working at the Tempe Improv as he attended Arizona State University. Steve has performed in comedy clubs, bars, colleges and private parties all over the northeastern United States.  His wacky descriptions of his family life, love life, and social life will keep you wildly entertained.  His odd perspective on life and the way he sees the world will make us all wonder what he is going to say next.

It's time for another great edition of Grin & Barrett Comedy.  And we are at a new venue - the awesome Beauty Bar on 14th Street.  Easy to get there.
Grin & Barrett is always FREE with amazing comics and free raffles.
Come see comedians from TV and those going to be on TV. And come see why Time Out NY named this show a "puntastically" named show produced by Liz Barrett.

about the show - from the producer

What happens when two stand-up comedians commit to a life of love and comedy? Newlyweds and soon-to-be parents Steve Leventhal and Katherine Williams met while doing stand-up in Manhattan in 2010. On Saturday, March 26th, just in time for Easter, this interfaith comedy couple takes the stage – not at the same time – to discuss dating, their families, NYC, and everything that led up to them walking down the aisle.

about the show - from the producer
Laughter School Special is a stand-up comedy showcase featuring some of New York’s best comics right in the heart of Astoria hosted by Lauren Hope Krass. Come out to Laughter School Special and question your life choices while the comics question theirs. Should you have been a comedian? Should they have pursued a path more luxurious than comedy? The answer; who knows!
For the meanwhile, allow these talented comics* to make you laugh and take your mind of off life’s pressing questions.
This month's theme will be all about love OR lack there-of. The comics will have all sorts of life lessons in store for you so be sure to take notes! ;)
