WHY IT'S A PICK
The only way to tackle some issues is head on, and we are here for this night of comedy and bravery.
ABOUT THE SHOW - FROM THE PRODUCER Join us for a night of storytelling, catharsis and laughter as comedians who identify as survivors of sexual assault, harassment and, in one case, a lawsuit for speaking out against an alleged rapist, share their experiences and change the narrative of how we joke about rape.
Sexual assault is everywhere, and the comedy community is by no means an exception. With a new industry predator revealed seemingly every month, we think it’s time for a new kind of rape joke.
Hear us and laugh until you cry, or cry until you laugh, but either way…hear us. **The show will be filmed as part of a larger documentary project “Rape Jokes by Survivors.”
