Stark White Entertainment and Tanael Joachim have teamed up to lend a hand with the Hurricane Matthew relief efforts. Just a few months ago, the category 4 hurricane hit the south of Haiti and took several hundred lives and communities with it. As a Haitian comedian based in New York City, Tanael felt the need to help out his homeland in the best way he knows: telling jokes. They decided to put together a great show with a lineup of incredible comedians in order to raise as much money as possible to help alleviate the struggle of those who currently need it the most in Haiti right now.

All proceeds from the show go to Nova Hope For Haiti, a highly recommended and trustworthy non-profit that provides medical help to folks in Haiti, with a focus in the southern part, which was the area most affected by Hurricane Matthew.

A weekly New York City comedy staple for over 5 years and consistently named one of the hottest shows in NYC, the show features about 7 – 8 comedians all with national tv credits. The show has become so popular that MTV and BRAVO have filmed at it. The Gandhi Show has headlined Carolines on Broadway and was also featured in the prestigious 2013 New York Comedy Festival presented by Comedy Central (the show has also been featured in The Wall Street Journal, NY Daily News, NYTimes.com, Time Out New York’s “Critic’s Picks”, The Laughing Devil Comedy Festival, etc.), and famous comedians (i.e. Louis CK, Jim Gaffigan, 30 Rock’s Judah Friedlander, SNL’s Jay Pharoah, “The Daily Show’s” Wyatt Cenac, Taylor Negron) looking to try out new bits regularly drop by to perform. The show is completely free and has NO Cover and NO Drink minimum. We just love putting on awesome shows and making people laugh. Period. Afterwards, many audience members stick around to hang and get to know each other. It’s a sweet after-party and a great place to meet new people! Everyone is welcome!
